2013 Spectacle Island 5K Road Race, Kids Fun Run and 3K Walk

Join us for the third annual Spectacle Island 5K, Kids Fun Run & 3K Walk, brought to you by the Boston Harbor Island Alliance. Enjoy panoramic views of Boston Harbor and the city from this historic island. Race day festivities feature a 5K Race, a half-mile Kids Fun Run, 3K Walk, picnic lunch for participants, music, and kids' activities.

  • Technical shirts to first 300 5K race registrants. T-shirts to first 50 Harbor Walk registrants and first 75 Kids Fun Run registrants.
  • New event ferry service to/from Hingham Shipyard.

5K Race start

“Race to the Saddle” Kids Fun Run start
 Half-mile fun run for children under 12

3K Harbor Walk start

5K Award Ceremony

Entry Fees

5K Race: $35 entry fee
Includes round-trip ferry transportation, technical shirt (if one of first 300 registrants), and picnic lunch ticket.

Kids Fun Run (children under 12): $15 entry fee 
Includes round-trip ferry transportation, award, t-shirt (if one of first 75 registrants) and picnic lunch ticket.

3K Harbor Walk: $30 entry fee
Includes round-trip ferry transportation, t-shirt (if one of first 50 registrants) , and picnic lunch ticket.

Spectator Ferry Tickets: 
Includes round-trip ferry transportation only. Spectators may purchase a picnic lunch ticket for an additional $8 per person
